As community doulas, our biggest drive is supporting our families. Becoming a NJ FamilyCare helps us bring more support to our communities; unfortunately the process of getting paid has been challenging. We recognize that dealing with insurance companies for reimbursement is a daunting process and we’re offering  a 2-hour crash course on Medicaid billing for NJ FamilyCare doulas.

When you leave this discussion you will have a basic understanding of how the individual MCOs process claims for reimbursement works. At the end of the call, we will provide you with cheat sheets to help you remember the steps. We also plan to hold collective gatherings for support.
